Hollow plastic construction formwork is another technological innovation in plastic construction formwork. Installation and Usage Instructions

1. Formwork Selection

• For laying the intersecting surfaces of composite material hollow construction formwork: Use formwork with a weight of 22KG.
• For shear wall formwork erection: Use formwork with a weight of 26KG.

2. Spacing of Wooden Battens

2.1 Spacing for Intersecting Surfaces

• The spacing of wooden battens depends on the thickness of the floor concrete.
• Generally, for floors with a thickness of less than 0.15m, the spacing of wooden battens is 250~300mm.

2.2 Spacing for Shear Walls

• The spacing of wooden battens is adjusted according to the height and thickness of the shear wall.
• Example: For a shear wall with a height of 2800mm and thickness of 300mm:
  • When using formwork with a thickness of 14mm, the vertical spacing of wooden battens is 100~200mm.
  • When using formwork with a thickness of 15mm, the vertical spacing of wooden battens is 150~250mm.
• If the width of the shear wall or column exceeds 1m, a fixing frame must be added.

3. Assembly Requirements

• No gaps are allowed when splicing shear wall and column formwork.
• Wooden battens must be installed at internal corners (bottom of the wall) to facilitate the connection of beam, wall, and formwork.
• Shear wall formwork must be assembled into whole panels first before hoisting, followed by laying flat panels. This reduces labor intensity and ensures good forming effect.

4. Nailing Specifications

• When nailing the formwork, the distance from the nail to the edge of the formwork should be 15~30mm.
• The nailing force should be moderate, and the nail length is generally 30~35mm (not too long or too short).

5. Beam Bottom Plate Requirements

• A 15mm notch must be reserved on the wooden battens of the beam bottom plate.
• The wall panels are erected on the notches of the wooden battens to prevent slurry leakage and save wall panel materials.
